Where to start?!
I had dreamed of attending a "Carols at the Royal Albert Hall" for as long as I can remember and having been to a number of other amazing performances during this year, I was determined to round it off with the Christmas Carols celebration.
I attended with my husband and my parents and we had the most wonderful evening. Such a wonderful atmosphere, heavenly singing, fun and laughs with the 12 days of Christmas belted out by the audience with enthusiasm....the wonderful finale complete with indoor snow!! So many smiling faces.
And within all that raucous heart christmas festivity, a moment of breathtaking serenity and soul-fulfilling beauty as the Hall fell quiet, the gentle lullaby of Silent Night began and then - a collective gasp of wonder as the wonder of the heavens was recreated by 4000 dots of light from mobile phones around the auditorium. I will never EVER forget that moment. It has carried me through the bizarre period of history we find ourselves in today, and will no doubt continue to bring me comfort in the months and years to come. Thank you RAH!
