Another tick on my bucket list! I WISH I'd made this visit aged 26 not 62 yrs old! - WHAT an experience and to combine my love of singing Carols with the excitement of my first ever trip to the RAH left me with an amazing feeling of awe and satisfaction.

The choice of a private box be it shared with strangers was rewarded with the making of new friends with like minded souls, suffice to say we weren't strangers when we left the Hall, as we were all buzzing with anticicpation and longing to return again next year on 2020! (How little did we know then what awaited such as simple plan)

The venue is totally unique, the music was superbly presented and played, and the auditorium itself was spell binding and can only be experienced at first hand to appreciate the sheer MAGIC of the event. Coupled with a long languid lunch afterwards made the day and the visit to London worth all the effort and considerable expense!

I live in hope that circumstances in 2021 will allow a repeat performance and visit. I made the trip to London and the RAH alone, if you are in a similar position do not hesitate to do the same - everyone is made welcome from entry to departure and you leave with many more friends and memories than before you entered.

Three Cheers to the RAH on it's 150 Birthday!!
