First Performance

18th May, 1972 saw the first performance of my cantata, "Here is the News", commissioned by Dr. Roy Wales, then Director of Music in Southend-on-Sea.

13th March, 1992, the first of three invitations to conduct at the RAH. Elgar's "From the Bavarian Highlands" was the work in question. Sincere thanks are due to Malcolm Bidgood OBE for making it possible.
