Fulfilling a dream

I went to see Emerson, Lake and Palmer...

A band I had been unable to see until that point..around 1997.

The thing that struck me was not the show so much as the incredible atmosphere that the building brought.

There's just something about it.

The ornate nature and the shape.

I rarely feel such a sense of history in concert venues but here it came through loud and clear.

Simply my favourite venue.
