Frank was in great shape the final evening of his 6 night stay Monday 25 - Sunday 31 May, 1992. He had got himself fit, looking good and on the Sunday night he wore a grey suit rather than black tie. These final 6 performances in London were strong shows, as was the whole tour. Check out the Barcelona video from 3 days later. Much better than his late 80s work which left me very disappointed when Frank's voice was sadly lacking on the last night of April, 1989's 'Ultimate Event'. This marvellous May 1992 Concert series was a fitting end to Frank's London career. Cleo Laine opened for him each night after which a short intermission and then the Chairman would walk on stage right on time. The bar emptied in 30 seconds with a sudden mad rush back to seats. Fab shows. So glad I went and the last time I saw Frank he was once again my hero. An eternal memory.
