Sometime in the early 70s my husband (guitarist Amancio D'Silva) and I took our 3 children (aged 6-8) to see/hear Ravi Shankar at the Albert Hall. We were in a box, very high up.
We wanted them to begin to understand other kinds of music, apart from classical or western pop.
They had never been to the Hall before and they've never forgotten it - and of course we have all been back several times since.
