Unforgettable experience

In 1963, aged 15, my friend and I went to the Pop Proms. It seems unbelievable now that both the Beatles and the Rolling Stones were on the bill. It's unlikely that we heard any music above the screaming, our own included. Since then I've attended many more fantastic gigs - several wonderful nights of David Gilmour stand out. The RAH is my favourite venue.
