I have seen many performers and events at the RAH in the last 42 years but a memorable one was during the all star Follies in Concert in April 2015. There were many great moments, including Anita Dobson bringing the house down, but the thing I will remember most was when Christine Baranski handled what could have been an awkward situation. She was in full flow when someone at the edge of stage was taking a photo. Some artists may have been put off but not Miss Baranski who, staying in character, took charge of the moment and let the fan take a selfie with her in it, then carried on with the song to tumultuous applause. Pure class and unflappability.
