Iggy Pop - Post Pop Depression

Alan H

Unforgettable experience

I had missed my chance to see David Bowie or Lou Reed, so jumped at the chance to see the third side of 1970's sacred rock triangle - Iggy Pop, at the RAH. I wasn't disappoionted - despite being so far back and high up that I had kept my passport handy in case I had to cross a border, I think it's fair to say that the man 'projected'. Best gig I think I've been to so far.

A snarling, charismatic, dynamo offering a mighty reposte to the 'hope I die before I get old' refrain of yore and lore. Pure energy. Long may he embrace his lust for life. Thanks to the RAH for the memory, one of many great ones at a very special venue, long may they continue. See you up in the Gods again! Alan.
